Our Story:

Each member of the M + L team has undertaken rigorous tertiary education at the prestigious Design Centre Enmore, culminating in bachelor degrees in design (interior design) and advanced diplomas in fine arts (interior design). Our Building Designers hold Advanced Diplomas in Building Design, further reinforcing our commitment to delivering comprehensive design and drafting services.

Side note...Our Directors meet on the very first days of their first design degree in interior design and now hold both degrees.

The Team

We’re Karyn and Helen,  business partners, Designers, and friends who’ve been creating beautiful, functional spaces together for more than 30 years.

We first crossed paths while studying at the Design Centre Enmore, both graduating with Advanced Diplomas in Interior Design & Drafting. Not long after, we discovered we had a shared approach to design: listen closely, think creatively, and never lose sight of how a space will be lived in.

Since then, we’ve designed everything from cruise ship fitouts and clubs to medical spaces and countless residential homes. Along the way, we’ve built strong relationships with architects, builders, trades, and suppliers — the kind of team that makes a big difference to the final result.
